There's some updates to this award season, so read on to find out what you need to know about entering an award in 2020...

This year's entrant handbook outlines everything you need to know - from entry eligibility requirements, category descriptions, judging criteria questions & entry fees. Download your copy here.

This year we have a slight adjustment to our awards categories as you'll see in the attached Awards Booklet. The reasons for these changes include;

  • keeping up to date with construction costs,

  • adjustments to categories that previous saw poor entry numbers,

  • becoming more aligned with the other States as well as NABD's award categories.

The category changes were approved by the Management Committee our October Man Comm meeting. If you have any queries please reach out to your branch's delegate for clarification.

Our Association has begun welcoming qualified Interior Designers on board as Associate members.

For the first time in 2020, our Interior Design members can enter the awards in the categories that they are qualified for (Residential Interiors & Commercial Interiors). This year, we have a brand new category that is open ONLY to these members - 'Interior Design - Best Space'.

Students, your season for design awards is officially opening next week too! You will have until the end of May 2020 to complete your entry. We encourage all students to enter the awards as it is a great opportunity to learn and experience a 'real-life' project. All entries will be evaluated and receive feedback from judges.
