Typically, each branch has its own committee and runs monthly or bi-monthly branch meetings that include BDAQ and industry updates as well as local supplier presentations. Branch meetings also provide members opportunities to network with other building designers in the area.
BDAQ also has a State Management Committee that is involved with the running of the Association as well as organising Queensland events such as the Building Design Awards, Conferences, Technical Masterclasses and more.

"For me, BDAQ provides network of
like-minded persons who come together
for the purpose of supporting each other
and developing the recognition of our industry in the eyes of the public."
- O. Kleidon
"When I was studying, I became a BDAQ Student member. I attended branch meetings and other events and now work for a BDAQ member who I met in my local branch."
